Silver Burrows Rabbitry

Silver Burrows Rabbitry is based in Caribou, ME, and is run by Matt and Torri Theriault. They involve their young son as much as they can with the rabbitry, hoping to pass on the passion to him as they grow older. Currently, Silver Burrows Rabbitry is home to 9 Silver Fox rabbits full time, 3 Bucks and 6 Does, and regularly has litters coming available as stock for others. Silver Burrows Rabbitry is planning to begin attending shows with some of their rabbits in the next year, and are excited for the new adventure. Fox Hill Rabbitry
Fryeburg, ME
Edy moved to Fryeburg, Maine with her family in 2016 and started with her first Silver Fox breeding trio in 2018. She has traveled extensively to bring good stock to Fox Hill (including New York, Ohio, Virginia and Kentucky) and has seven lines of different Silver Fox blood in her breeding stock, which allows for high quality pedigreed non-related trios with ease. Now with over 30 breeding stock, Fox Hill Rabbitry focuses exclusively on this Heritage breed that is the only breed in the history of the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) to be taken off the endangered list. There is a reason the Silver Fox breed is coming back, Silver Fox rabbits are fantastic! With lighter bones than the other two most popular meat rabbit breeds, they dress out at more protein per pound. They are docile, friendly, beautiful, and great mothers. Silversong Hollow

Silversong Hollow is a newly established homestead run by Emily and Brian Hodgins in Hudson, Maine where they raise backyard mixed chickens, ducks, Pilgrim and Embden geese and Silver Fox rabbits. Emily and Brian both grew up in Penobscot County Maine in rural communities where nature was their playground and they’ve made it their goal to live more sustainably to help preserve the environment they love. As of August 2024, they have just 2 Bucks and 1 Doe in their herd which they breed in hopes of providing stock for others interested in Silver Fox rabbits. They’re in progress of expanding their herd and look forward to attending some shows to confirm the quality of their breeding stock in the coming year. At this time, they have litters available bi-monthly and litters will be listed on this site as they become available. Emily is a former IT professional turned self-employed artist and is working to complete her studies in music education, while Brian currently works full-time as a network engineer.
